History:
2009-10: Played his first year in North America with the Rimouski Oceanic in the QMJHL. In 63 regular season games, he scored 47 points (27 goals, 20 assists), collected 54 penalty minutes and had an even plus/minus rating. In 12 postseason games, he added nine points (6 goals, 3 assists), four penalty minutes and was a plus-5. Was a member of Team Cherry at the 2010 CHL/Home Hardware Top Prospects game.
2008-09: Saw playing time between HC Plzen’s u18 and u20 teams. In 29 games with the u18’s, he scored 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) and racked up 98 penalty minutes. In 12 games with the u20’s, he registered five points (3 goals, 2 assists) and picked up 10 penalty minutes. He represented the Czech Republic at the 2009 World u-18 Championships. At the 2009 CHL Import Draft, he was selected 37th overall by the Rimouski Oceanic.
